About
Mr. Seth earned his primary medical qualifications at the University of London in 2005, after which he undertook his medical training. Mr. Seth went on to gain a national research award from The Urology Foundation for his internationally presented research into Bladder Dysfunction and was awarded a Doctorate for this. He spent several years building up experience, fellowship training and a subspecialist interest in Functional Urology. Upon completion of his training, Mr. Seth joined the specialist register for Urology in 2017 and was appointed Consultant in 2018. Since his appointment, he has led the Neuro-urology, Urodynamic, and Female Urology clinic at St George's Hospital, and also supports urology continence services at Epsom and St Helier's and the Royal Marsden Hospital, including the cancer survivorship service for men who have incontinence after prostate cancer treatment. He has set up several Bladder Botox and Urethral Bulking services and co-leads the sub-specialised urology prosthetic service offering artificial sphincter implantation to men with post-prostatectomy incontinence.
Since his appointment, Mr. Seth is has aimed to centre his practice around individualised treatment plans for his patients, to improve their quality of life and help them return to their best selves. Mr. Seth provides a fast and accurate diagnosis and has performed thousands of urological procedures since starting his practice. He is also an active member of the research community, authoring 50+ peer-reviewed articles in renowned journals, and has presented his research at conferences globally.
He is Senior Lecturer at St George's Medical School, is an active speaker for increasing the awareness and support for patients with urinary incontinence and collaborates with continence units around the country. He is the Clinical Lead for Urology at 18 Week Support, a National Leadership role which supports NHS Trusts to treat Urology patients as part of the recovery from the pandemic.
