Dr Mahdi's primary clinical interests are sleep medicine dentistry and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, two areas that are more closely linked than many people realise.
If you snore, suspect sleep apnoea, or are living with jaw pain, headaches, or teeth grinding, there is often an underlying cause that goes unaddressed when teeth alone are treated. Sleep apnoea, for example, is a frequently overlooked driver of bruxism and facial pain. Dr Mahdi takes the time to identify what is truly driving your symptoms and offers effective, conservative treatment.
For patients with complex needs, she works within a multidisciplinary specialist network. If your case calls for a different or more intensive pathway, you will be referred to the right hands promptly.
For referrers: Dr Mahdi welcomes referrals for sleep-disordered breathing, home sleep tests and home level 2 polysomnography, mandibular advancement therapy, bruxism management, and TMJ assessment, and is happy to liaise directly and provide detailed reports.

Alongside her specialist interests, Dr Mahdi offers a full range of aesthetic and general dental care, including extensive postgraduate cosmetic training and Invisalign provision since 2018.
