Klose befasst sich seit Beginn seiner Ausbildung mit Fragen der Qualitätsmessung in der Plastischen Chirurgie und gründete die freie Arbeitsgemeinschaft Qualitätsmanagement Plastische und Ästhetische Chirurgie. Mit dieser etablierte er eine Kooperation mit der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Plastische und Wiederherstellungschirurgie. Er publiziert regelmäßig Beiträge für nationale und internationale Fachjournale und wird für Fachvorträge zu Kongressen im In- und Ausland eingeladen.
Dr. med. Klose ist ordentliches Mitglied der Deutschen Gesellschaft der Plastischen, Rekonstruktiven und Ästhetischen Chirurgen (DGPRAEC, vormals VDPC), der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Plastische und Wiederherstellungschirurgie (DGPW) und der German Society of Anti-Aging-Medicine (GSAAM).
