Her specialist training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism was completed at the Endocrine Research Center of Shahid Beheshti University, where she undertook a fellowship from 2014 to 2016.
Dr Kadkhodazadeh has worked as a Consultant Endocrinologist at Abadan University of Medical Sciences and Parsian Subspecialty Hospital in Iran. She has also contributed to the Endocrine Research Center at Shahid Beheshti University as a specialist. In addition to her institutional roles, she has treated over 10,000 patients in her private clinic in Tehran.
Her clinical expertise covers a wide range of endocrine disorders. These include the management of obesity, with a focus on comprehensive differential diagnosis and personalised treatment plans. She also has extensive experience in managing diabetes mellitus (including Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes), and thyroid disorders such as hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, Graves’ disease, goitre, thyroid nodules, and various thyroid cancers (including papillary, follicular, and medullary types).
She is also experienced in treating calcium and bone metabolism disorders such as osteoporosis; adrenal disorders; and reproductive and hormonal conditions including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), hirsutism, gynecomastia, and hormone replacement therapy. Her practice also includes the diagnosis and management of pituitary and hypothalamic disorders, pancreatic endocrine conditions, and secondary hypertension.
