Dr Himesh Patel is a dentist at Coptfold Dental Practice in Brentwood. He has 10 years of experience and expertise in smile design including teeth straightening and tooth wear/complex rehabilitation. Dr Patel gained his BDS from King's College London in 2009 where he graduated with an award for his skills in oral surgery. He then gained experience whilst working in Sheffield and London before undertaking postgraduate training and completing his Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties exam with the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2011. He subsequently completed a postgraduate award in orthodontics and a master of clinical dentistry in implantology. Dr Patel has also spent time training with top clinicians in the UK and Europe including Hilt Tatum who pioneered the sinus lift. In addition, time spent in Peru has enabled him to treat patients with a range of different dental problems to those encountered in the UK.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Patel enjoys travelling, dining, and having new experiences. He is interested in a wide range of music and has previously played the trombone and saxophone. He also enjoys martial arts and has achieved his 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and teaching.
