She was admitted to the Specialist Register for General Surgery in 2009, taking up a consultant post in 2010.
She has extensive training in breast cancer surgery and reconstruction, completing a further breast reconstruction fellowship in the Royal Marsden Hospital in London in 2017.
She is a member of the Association of Breast Surgery and sits on the Clinical Practice and Standards Committee.
