Dr Emma Hiscutt is a highly trained dermatologist based in Melbourne, known for her calm, reassuring manner and her commitment to delivering outstanding, patient-centred dermatological care. She believes strongly in a holistic approach to skin health and empowers her patients with the knowledge and tools they need to both treat and prevent skin problems.

Her clinical expertise spans the full breadth of dermatology, including the diagnosis and management of acne, eczema, psoriasis, paediatric dermatology, skin infections, and conditions affecting the hair and nails. She also has a particular interest in skin cancer, medical dermatology, and allergic contact dermatitis, offering comprehensive patch testing and evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each individual.

Dr Hiscutt’s medical training began at the University of Cambridge, where she completed her Master’s degree in Medical Sciences (MA), followed by her clinical medical degree at the University of Oxford (BM BCh) in 2001. She went on to achieve Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and completed specialist dermatology training in the UK, further earning a Certificate in Postgraduate Medical Education.

After relocating to Australia in 2009 and undergoing specialist assessment, Dr Hiscutt was awarded Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatology (FACD). Her career since has included working at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and more than a decade at The Alfred Hospital, where she developed extensive expertise in complex dermatological care.
