About Dr Emma Friedman
Dr. Emma Friedman is a Consultant Radiologist at the Royal London Hospital, where she has been serving since 1998. After qualifying from the Middlesex Hospital Medical School in 1985 and obtaining her MRCP, Dr. Friedman pursued a career in Radiology, training at University College Hospital (UCH) and earning her FRCR in 1993. She currently holds the position of Clinical Lead for Imaging and is the Lead Radiologist for Ultrasound across the trust. Dr. Friedman specialises in the imaging of complex cases using ultrasound and CT, with a particular focus on trauma. She has a specialist interest in genitourinary imaging, performing transvaginal and transrectal ultrasound, ultrasound examinations of the testes and penis, and CT urography. Additionally, she is dedicated to imaging in the context of infertility, including hysterosalpingography (HSG). Previously, she also developed a subspecialist interest in paediatric radiology.
