About Dr Emma Bean
Dr Emma Bean is a specialist anaesthetist with a particular interest in Perioperative Medicine. Their training began at Cambridge University, where they studied general medicine. After becoming a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and gaining experience in intensive care, Dr Bean relocated to Australia. A developing interest in critical care medicine led them to specialise in anaesthesia, commencing their training in Singapore. They then spent three years at the National University Hospital, before returning to Sydney to finish their Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
