Dr Leslie is a very active researcher having published prolifically in many high impact journals and has contributed to several textbooks. Her research interests are currently based around urticaria, rosacea, and itch, she is involved with the treatment guidelines for all of these conditions. She is also an active member of many institutions including being a Secretary at the British Association of Dermatologists and the Paediatric Chronic Urticaria Task Force of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. She also holds the position of President of the Clinical Immunology and Allergy Section of the Royal Society of Medicine. Previously, she was the secretary of the RSM Dermatology section.
