About Dr Saul Halpern
Dr Saul Halpern is currently the senior and lead consultant at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Trust with over 22 years as a consultant dermatologist. With his calm and friendly manner he uses his extensive experience in both medical and surgical dermatology for the benefit of patients with all kinds of skin conditions ranging from moles and skin cancers to acne, eczema and other rashes, hair or nail disorders. He has special expertise in the removal of facial lesions and cancers. Dr Halpern qualified from the University of London in 1987 and trained at The Royal London, St Bartholomew's and Guy's Hospitals in London, plus the Royal Liverpool Hospital with additional academic scholarships in pharmacology and biochemical pharmacology. He was appointed consultant dermatologist at The Medway NHS Trust in 1998 until 2019. Dr Halpern is an educational supervisor and mentor for trainee dermatologists and other doctors. He is a committee member of the British Association of Dermatologists, a lecturer and organiser of multiple national and international conferences, and an author and reviewer for medical journals.
