Dr Rani Bora
Psychiatry
About
My clinical work focuses on adults with depression, anxiety, burnout, and trauma, as well as people who want to review or reduce long-term psychiatric medication. I am particularly interested in cases where conventional approaches have not fully helped — where someone has been managing symptoms for years without ever feeling genuinely well, or where a diagnosis has never quite fitted their experience.
I integrate evidence-based psychiatry with lifestyle medicine and a recovery-oriented approach, grounded in the belief that sustainable mental health involves more than medication management. Appointments with me are unhurried — initial consultations are 90 minutes — and I take seriously the full context of a person's life, not just their presenting symptoms.
I see patients across the UK via secure video consultation, and work closely with my co-founder Dr Suraj Gogoi (MRCPsych).
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
