About
Dr Nick Plowman treats adults and children with solid cancers of all types.
He graduated from Cambridge University and has over 40 years of experience in his field. He remains involved in the latest developments so that he can offer his patients the best treatments available.
For more than thirty years, he has been a consultant oncologist at St. Bartholomew's Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children. He has learnt over the years how to best care for a cancer patient as well as how to treat the cancer itself.
Dr Plowman has dedicated his life to caring for people with cancer, and his research has resulted in advances in medical practice around the world, such as the introduction of aromatase inhibitors for the management of breast cancer and glucocorticoids for the management of advanced prostate cancer. Additionally, he has contributed to the advancement of modern radiotherapy to help children with cancer.
Individuals from all over the globe contact him to help them or a family member, and he frequently receives requests from the United Kingdom, the European Union, the Middle East, the United States, and Asia.
