I was appointed as Consultant Cardiologist at Warwick Hospital in 1996 and have developed the department from single handed to 7 cardiologists over the past 20 years.
I stepped down as Clinical Director in 2017 to continue with what I enjoy and am passionate about most, looking after patients and developing our services to extend into the community and primary care, so patients can be managed seamlessly where ever the stage of their condition takes them.
With 30 years of experience in cardiology including interventional and invasive cardiology and as one of few cardiologists with dual accreditiaon (Cardiology and General medicine) I provide a holistic specialist approach to patient care.
I have developed strong links with tertiary and quaternary centres to jointly manage patients with very complex heart conditions to enable their care to remain local whilst getting the expertise that they need from the super specialist units including University Hospital Birmingham, John Radcliffe Oxford, Papworth Cambridge, Brompton and Harefield, London.
