Due to her outstanding achievement, she was granted various travel scholarships and visited the Medical University of South Carolina Endoscopy Unit and Kishiwada Tokusyukai Hospital and Osaka University Hospital, Japan. After completing her training and becoming consultant, she has made significant impact in the field of Gastroenterology, including being awards the NIHR which she used to strategically improve and expand IBD services, to better assist patients. She also founded the Bravo Catheterless pH monitoring service to support the oesophageal diagnostic service, and chairs the British Society of Gastroenterology adolescents.
