Dr Maryam Behnam earned her medical degree in Iran in October 2004 and relocated to the United Kingdom in 2006. She has been fully registered with the General Medical Council since 2007.
She completed her foundation training at Ealing Hospital and spent two years in surgery at several London institutions, including the Royal Free Hospital, before electing to pursue specialised training in general practice at the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex (KSS) Deanery in 2011.
