Her clinical research interests include investigation of the pathogenesis of mucocutaneous diseases with a particular emphasis on the immunobullous disorders and lichen planus. With her team she has developed and published clinical outcome measures which are vital for optimising patient care, has identified biomarkers for disease severity and identifies the optimal treatments for complex mucocutaneous diseases.
