Iain is the dentist to see for general dental problems and particularly if you are having problems with the way your teeth meet (bite.)
After graduating from Guys Hospital in 2000 Iain has worked in general dental practice and is very experienced in helping adults and children look after their teeth. Iain has a BSc in psychology focusing on the causes and treatment of dental phobia and so if you have any hesitation or worries about going to the dentist, then he knows that going at your own pace and having all your questions answered is key to getting the help that you need in a comfortable and relaxed manner. It can be incredibly rewarding to work together to overcome anxiety towards dental care and become more relaxed in the dental environment. Iain has also studied at the renowned Dawson Institute in Florida which means that in addition to everyday dental questions, he can help with queries you may have with an uncomfortable bite, aching jaw joints, tooth wear and pain in the muscles of the head and neck. There can be a number of ways to resolve these problems, but the journey starts with diagnosing where the problem lies. If you suffer from headaches, muscle tension or joint pain then do mention this at your appointment and Iain will be glad to see what can be done to help.
