Dr Mary Wain is a Consultant Dermatologist at the St John's Institute of Dermatology, specialising in skin cancer and general dermatology.
Dr Wain has worked exclusively in Dermatology since 2000, completing her training at the St John's Institute of Dermatology, Guy's & St Thomas' Hospitals, and was later appointed Consultant Dermatologist at St George's Hospital, London. During her training she undertook research in cutaneous lymphoma and was awarded an MD by the University of London.
Dr Wain qualified from the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy's & St Thomas' Hospitals, University of London in 1997 with honours in five subjects and was awarded the college Silver Medal, Medicine Medal and Surgery Prize, undertaking a BSc in Physiology during her undergraduate medical training, for which she was awarded First Class Honours and the college Physiology Prize. After qualification she completed postgraduate training in general medicine at St Thomas' Hospital, London and obtained the MRCP.
