About Dr Daniel Gavin
Dr Gavin qualified as a doctor from the University of Liverpool and completed his specialty training in Gastroenterology. Prior to his appointment as a Consultant he undertook a prestigious Endoscopy Fellowship with the then National Leads for Endoscopy and Endoscopy Training. He conducted the National Colonoscopy Audit in 2011 and published the findings in GUT, an international journal of gastroenterology. Dr Gavin is now a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Ipswich Hospital where he is both the clinical lead for the Inflammatory Bowel Disease service and the training lead for Endoscopy. He is experienced in the investigation, diagnosis and management of all forms of gastrointestinal symptoms and disease.
