About
Dr Bobby Abbot graduated in medicine in 1996 at St George's Hospital Medical School having also undertaken a clinical BSc at St Mary's Hospital Medical School. He then underwent his hospital posts and GP training in SW London, having completed his diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and membership to the Royal College Of General Practitioners. He is working in Croydon as a highly regarded and established full-time senior GP partner at the Shirley Medical Center for the last 16 years.
His practice and experience covers all aspects of male and female general practice, including children, and joint injections, with a special interest in diabetes, cardiovascular disease medicine and respiratory disease. He believes in offering both a quality and highly efficient service to all patients to uncover their health needs. His years and wealth of experience in dealing with patients helps provide clear and concise joint decision making plans.
Dr Abbot regularly participates in local educational events, being a frequent medical speaker to local GP and nurse colleagues. He is also a GP appraiser and a clinical, prescribing and GP mental health lead on the local commissioning board.
