Dr Asok Venkataraman graduated from India in 1980 and also did his MD in cardiac effects of yellow oleander poisoning in 1985 and is a lead consultant for the Cardiology Team who provide a comprehensive cardiac service and care to the local population.
In 1986, Venkataraman came to the UK in and had his training in interventional cardiology in Coventry at Walsgrave Hospital. He has been working as a consultant cardiologist from 1994. Venktaraman is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of UK.
