Initially practicing in Milan until 2004, specializing in diabetes and endocrinology, she later served as a Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology and Head of Department at Orpington Hospital in the UK until 2013. During her time there, she championed integrated and patient-centered care, focusing on the management of type 1 diabetes and leading the antenatal multidisciplinary team.
Between 2013 and 2018, Dr Casiglia contributed her expertise to Dubai as a specialist in Diabetes and Endocrinology, actively participating as a member of the multidisciplinary thyroid cancer group.
