Originally from Colombia, she now resides in Dubai with her husband and two daughters. She graduated with Honours from El Bosque University, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1993. During her career, Dr. Chaves contributed significantly to the field of oral surgery as part of the OMS team at El Tunal Hospital in Colombia. Dr. Chaves is a proud member of prestigious professional associations, including the Colombian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ACCOMF), the Latin American Association of Buccomaxilofacial Surgery and Traumatology (ALACIBU), and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS).
