Dr. Clare Redfearn is a Consultant Obstetrician and the founder of Oak Tree Obstetrics Ltd, a practice dedicated to providing personalised, compassionate care for women and birthing people throughout pregnancy. Inspired by the oak trees of her childhood garden and the placenta’s intricate tree-like structure, she created Oak Tree Obstetrics to offer expert guidance and tailored support through a variety of consultations and care packages. Born in Canterbury, she graduated from the University of Leicester in 2006 and has been a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist since 2017. Within the NHS, Dr. Clare Redfearn specialises in managing complex pregnancies, including those affected by medical conditions, previous complications, multiple pregnancies, birth trauma, mental health issues, and pregnancy loss. As Labour Ward lead, she collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams including midwives, anaesthetists, paediatricians, and theatre staff to ensure every woman and family experiences a positive birth, regardless of the circumstances. Passionate about education, she is committed to training junior doctors and midwives, emphasising effective communication and teamwork to promote safe, supportive care during labour and birth. Oak Tree Obstetrics is CQC registered and able to provide Private Antenetal Care packages and Consultations alongside NHS care.  Consultations include: • Pre Pregnancy Planning • Antenatal Consultations • The Milestones Package of Care ( 12 weeks, 36 weeks and Postnatal Consultations) • The Full Journey Package of Care (Consultations every 4 weeks during pregnancy and a Postnatal Consultation) • Birth Choices Consultation • Postnatal Consultation • Fit to Fly Assessments Oak Tree Obstetrics also provide Antenatal Courses in Kent and Medway provided by a team of practicing Midwives, Obstetrician and Physiotherapist.
