Oberarzt Dr. Christoph Sperker absolvierte nach seinem Studium eine Ausbildung in einer internistischen Lehrpraxis mit dem Schwerpunkt Schilddrüse. Anschließend war er im bekannten AKH Wien und dem Wiener Gesundheitsverbund (KAV) sowie in der Krankenanstalt Rudolfstiftung, der heutigen Klinik Landstrasse, tätig. Des Weiteren ergänzte er sein fachliches Wissen in dem Kaiserin Elisabeth Spital und dem Hanusch Krankenhaus, wo er ebenfalls tätig war. In der Klink Landstrasse praktiziert Dr. Sperker, neben seiner Tätigkeit in der eigenen Ordination, noch bis heute als Oberarzt.
Während seiner Ausbildung zum Facharzt für Chirurgie fing Dr. Sperker an sich auf die laparoskopische Viszeralchirurgie zu spezialisieren. Um sich diese Expertise aneignen zu können, absolvierte er diverse Kurse und Hospitationen im In- und Ausland. Unter anderem bildete er sich am LKH Graz und am LKH Wiener Neustadt weiter fort, ebenso wie durch Laparoskopie Kurse in Berlin, München, Mailand, Paris und Hamburg. Dieses spezielle Können bietet Dr. Sperker seinen Patienten als Viszeralchirurg im Bereich der Abdominalchirurgie an, um sie so effizient wie möglich behandeln zu können.
Als Oberarzt und Facharzt für Chirurgie hat sich Dr. Sperker auf drei Gebiete spezialisiert. Ersteres ist die minimal invasive Chirurgie der Gallensteine, des Sodbrennens und des Leistenbruches, genauso wie Dick- und Dünndarmerkrankungen. Das zweite Behandlungsgebiet von Dr. Sperker stellt die Übergewichtschirurgie dar, wo er durch Veränderungen der Verdauungsorgane den Patienten hilft ihr Wunschgewicht zu erreichen und auch beizubehalten. Sein drittes Spezialgebiet umfasst die Proktologie, die viele Patienten aus Scham zu spät behandeln lassen.
In seiner eigenen Ordination versucht Dr. Sperker seine Patienten so effizient wie möglich und ohne unnötige Umwege zu behandeln.
