About Dr Bryan McDonald
Dr Bryan McDonald is a consultant dermatologist at the Royal London Hospital and Wotford Hospital. He carries out consultations for both adult and paediatric dermatology problems, seeing patients with a wide range of skin disorders including: complex inflammatory skin diseases (such as acne vulgaris, psoriasis, eczema, urticaria and hidradenitis suppurativa); Skin lesion assessment/skin cancer assessment; performs skin surgery; penoscrotal (male genital) dermatology. He was the paediatric dermatology lead and previous clinical lead for dermatology at the Royal London Hospital. He set up a new tertiary hidradenitis suppurativa/complex acne service. He has also leads male genital dermatology services for 2 Trusts. He is a past honorary secretary of the British Association of Dermatologists, was a member of the British Association of Dermatologists Therapeutics and Guidelines Committee and chaired the British Association of Dermatologists medicines access sub-committee. He is the President of the British Society for the study of Peno-Scrotal Dermatology.
