Pommer ist Mitglied im Berufsverband deutscher Internistinnen und Internisten (BDI), der Arbeitsgemeinschaft bayerischer Notärztinnen und Notärzte (AGBN) und der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Tropenmedizin und globale Gesundheit (DTG).
