Belinda Daou is an experienced clinical dietitian with more than ten years' experience in the field, with six years working in Beirut, Lebanon. After working in various polyclinics in Beirut, she relocated to the UAE and was based at Shamma Clinic where she specialised in pediatric nutrition. She now works at the American Hospital in Dubai.
Belinda's expertise is in therapeutic nutrition and dietary treatments for nutrition-related diseases and conditions. She has a passion for helping people and is able to relate to her patients using her excellent communication skills. She can offer help in a range of areas including weight-loss strategies, metabolism repair, pre/post-bariatric surgery care, diabetes, thyroid disorders, liver disease, renal disease, and gastrointestinal disorders.
Belinda gained her bachelor's degree in nutrition and dietetics in 2012 from Notre Dame University in Lebanon. She has worked with a range of diet plans and has worked in a number of private clinics in both Dubai and Lebanon. Her aim is to help her patients to reach targets they believed were unreachable.
Belinda's diet motto is 'Don't ever give up on your body, it's counting on you to nurture, nutrition, and love it.' She believes that there is always a root issue when it comes to weight loss or weight gain and aims to treat her patients holistically.
