Mr Bassem Amr

About
Mr Amr holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from Cairo University, a Master of Science in General Surgery from Ain Shams University, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Plymouth. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
His clinical practice focuses on bariatric surgery, benign upper gastrointestinal conditions, and abdominal wall hernia surgery. In addition to his clinical work, Mr Amr is involved in surgical education and training. He coaches surgeons preparing for the FRCS examination and provides guidance on portfolio development and interview preparation.
Mr Amr holds an Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in the UK and is a faculty member on a range of national and international surgical courses. These include the Royal College of Surgeons Basic Surgical Skills course, the Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (CCrISP) course, and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) courses for both providers and instructors.
