As Clinical Lead for Cardiovascular Cross-Sectional Imaging at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals, Dr. Ruzsics played a key role in establishing and advancing the hospitals’ cardiac CT and MRI programs.
His expertise is recognised globally — he has been invited as faculty and lecturer at prestigious international cardiology and imaging conferences, including the Asian Society of Cardiac Imaging (Japan), the European Society of Cardiology (Barcelona, Spain), and events in São Paulo, Brazil. His contributions to the field have been honoured with major scientific awards from leading institutions, including the North American Society of Cardiac Imaging, the Society of Computed Tomography and Body MR, and the Radiological Society of North America.
Dr. Ruzsics is also a Course Director for the Comprehensive Cardiac CT Course and co-author of a three-volume CME-accredited cardiac CT case library, used internationally for clinician education and training.
Since his appointment as a Consultant Cardiologist in 2010, Dr. Ruzsics has remained at the forefront of advanced cardiovascular imaging.
