Education and Training:
Mr Kayani completed his undergraduate medical training at Imperial College London and completed his orthopaedic residency training on the North East Thames Rotation. Following this, he completed a senior fellowship in complex primary and revision hip and knee reconstruction at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. Mr Kayani subsequently completed a second senior fellowship in robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements and sports injuries at University College London Hospital, London, England.
Academia:
Mr Kayani completed a PhD at University College London (UCL), investigating the effects of robotic technology on patients undergoing total knee replacements. He has published and presented his research extensively and received academic prizes from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the British Orthopaedic Association, Orthopaedic Research UK, and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS).
