She earned her bachelor's degree in medicine from King Saud University. Dr Alzahrani's postgraduate qualifications include the Saudi and Arab Boards in General Paediatrics. Furthermore, she has completed a Canadian fellowship and holds Canadian boards in Paediatric Haematology and Oncology, as well as in Paediatric Haemostasis and Thrombosis.
