Later, he joined the Alferdaws Eye Hospital in Egypt as an Executive Medical Director and Surgical Trainer, where he mentored young surgeons and developed curricula for advanced cataract and refractive surgery. Subsequently, he relocated to the UAE to take on the role of a Cataract and Refractive Surgeon at UltraLasik Eye Center, Dubai and as a Specialist in Ophthalmology at NMC Royal Hospital, Sharjah.
Dr. Zeid specialises in anterior segment surgeries, with expertise in cataract, corneal, refractive, and medical retinal procedures. He has mastered the full spectrum of cataract surgery, including phacoemulsification on all major platforms, premium and toric IOL implantation, refractive lens exchange, and ICL implantation. His corneal work includes keratoconus management (crosslinking, ICRS, amniotic membrane grafting), while his refractive practice spans PRK, LASIK, Femtolasik, FemtoSMILE, and LASER extra.
