Dr. med. Armin Philipp ist Facharzt für Dermatologie und Venerologie. Nach dem Medizinstudium an der Universität Heidelberg promovierte er zum Thema Psoriasis. Seine Facharztausbildung absolvierte er an der Universitätshautklinik Mannheim, wo er eine umfassende Ausbildung insbesondere in der operativen Behandlung von bösartigen und gutartigen Tumoren im Gesicht und am Körper erhielt. Im Anschluss daran folgte eine eineinhalbjährige Weiterbildung in der Allergologie an der Universitätshautklinik Mannheim. Dr. med. Armin Philipp nimmt regelmäßig an klinischen Studien teil, unter anderem zu den Themen Psoriasis, Behandlung des Melanoms und zum Einsatz von Botulinumtoxin in der Faltenbehandlung und bei Hyperhidrose. Seine Expertise erweiterte er durch eine Fortbildung in der Lidchirurgischen Augenklinik Trier im Jahr 2004. Seit 2005 ist er als "Onkologisch verantwortlicher Dermatologe" anerkannt. Darüber hinaus verfügt Dr. med. Armin Philipp über umfassende Weiterbildungen und Erfahrungen in der Lasermedizin und der kosmetisch-ästhetischen Medizin, einschließlich Botulinumtoxin, Faltenunterspritzung und Peelingverfahren.
