Anthony Rhone
Psychology
About
Anthony has an integrative approach to therapy, blending cognitive, behavioural, humanistic, and psychodynamic models to tailor treatment to each client’s needs. He has considerable experience working with anger, anxiety, addiction, interpersonal challenges, and psychotic disorders.
Outside of his work at Nightingale Hospital, Anthony runs a private practice and works as a Clinical Supervisor. He has provided supervision to psychotherapists, mental health nurses, junior doctors, and team managers, particularly in addiction and forensic settings. His background includes working in high-security psychiatric hospitals, prisons, and forensic mental health services.
Anthony’s work is rooted in the belief that creating a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space is essential for effective therapy. He places strong emphasis on understanding each client’s core beliefs, which often underpin patterns of behaviour and emotional responses. By doing so, he helps individuals reduce shame, build insight, and work through challenges in a supportive and confidential environment. He is also committed to inclusivity and embraces working with people from diverse backgrounds.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
