Dr Anne-Marie Pellizzer is a qualified consultant physician with specialist qualifications. They provide peri-operative care to patients, which encompasses all aspects of patient management that are not directly related to the surgical procedure. This includes addressing pre-existing medical conditions that require specific attention during the surgical period, as well as managing fluids and pain relief upon discharge to the ward. Dr Pellizzer also manages any unforeseen circumstances that may arise during the hospital stay and coordinates referrals and appropriate follow-up care.
Dr Pellizzer conducts daily reviews and provides 24/7 on-call coverage. The patient's primary consultant remains responsible for all aspects of the orthopaedic surgery.
