Orthopaedic Surgery
About
Mr. Munjal's key clinical interests include arthroscopic shoulder surgery, shoulder replacements, and treating sports-related injuries in young individuals. In addition, he has developed a particular expertise in managing post-traumatic complications such as non-unions. His approach to care is collaborative—working closely with fellow upper limb surgeons, physiotherapists, radiologists, rheumatologists, pain specialists, and GPs to ensure optimal outcomes for his patients.
Following his registrar training, Mr. Munjal completed a fellowship in upper limb surgery at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. He subsequently held Locum Consultant posts at Hull and East Yorkshire NHS Trust and Kingston Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust before taking up his current substantive consultant role in Worcestershire.
He provides a wide range of orthopaedic treatments, including carpal tunnel release, joint injections for pain management, shoulder arthroscopy, and shoulder replacement surgery. Mr. Munjal also sees patients at Spire South Bank Hospital, where he offers both surgical and non-surgical orthopaedic care.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
