About Dr Alya Abdul-Wahab
Dr. Alya Abdul-Wahab is a Consultant Dermatologist at St George's Foundation Trust and Queen Mary's Hospital in Roehampton. She is the lead for the paediatric dermatology service. Dr. Alya Abdul-Wahab qualified from St Georges' Hospital Medical School. She trained in dermatology at St John's Institute of Dermatology in London and undertook a sub-specialist fellowship training in Paediatric Dermatology at Guys and St Thomas' Trust. During her training, she was actively involved in research and spent three years studying inherited skin disorders at the end of which she was awarded an MD degree by Kings College London in Genetics and Molecular Medicine. Dr. Alya Abdul-Wahab is a member of several medical societies and she regularly attends and presents at national and international meetings.
