About Mr Alistair Scott Parker
Mr Alistair Scott is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgery. He practices at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Southampton, having joined in 2023 after serving as an NHS Consultant from 2016 to 2023. His clinical expertise covers a wide range of procedures, including primary and revision hip and knee replacements, partial knee replacements, arthroscopic knee surgery, and meniscal repair. Mr Scott completed his medical degree (MBChB) at the University of Glasgow, following an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh. He gained his Fellowship in Trauma and Orthopaedics (FRCS Tr & Ortho) in 2014. His surgical training was based in Scotland and the South West of England, with advanced sub-specialty fellowships in hip and knee surgery at University Hospital Cardiff.
