About
Mr McKay has a specialist interest in renal surgery and the management of renal cancer, and he is a member of the specialist regional renal surgery team in Glasgow. He is experienced in a range of surgical techniques, including endoscopic, laparoscopic, robotic, and open surgery. In addition to renal surgery, his NHS practice covers the full spectrum of benign general urological conditions for both male and female patients.
Mr McKay is passionate about research and training, and he has published extensively on surgical and urological topics. He is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow, where he acts as an Advisor of Studies and Educational Supervisor to medical students and junior doctors.
