Mrs Ali Dorgan is a Nutritional Therapist and Neuromuscular Therapist and the founder of Alis Nutrition & Sports Therapies clinic in Cobh. She provides functional nutritional therapy, offering personalised, client-centred support informed by nutritional science and delivered alongside existing medical care where appropriate.
Her approach focuses on identifying potential nutritional imbalances that may contribute to an individual’s symptoms or health concerns. Consultations consider genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors, with the aim of supporting overall health and long-term wellbeing. Initial consultations are typically 90 minutes and involve a detailed discussion of health history, current concerns and personal goals. Following assessment, clients receive structured recommendations, including tailored nutrition guidance, supplement recommendations and lifestyle strategies. Follow-up consultations, usually 30 minutes in duration, are used to review progress, address challenges and refine plans over time.
Mrs Dorgan has special interest in digestive health, auto immune conditions and supporting healthy fertility.
Mrs Dorgan also runs a sport therapies and injuries clinic along with two colleagues offering Sports Massage, Injury rehabilitation, Dry needling and Myofacial release work in the clinic
In addition to her clinical work, Mrs Dorgan has a background in competitive sport, including crossfit, triathlon, kickboxing, karate and rugby. This informs her work with physically active individuals, particularly in relation to the nutritional demands of training, performance and recovery.
