Dr. med. Alexander Kirgis ist Facharzt für Orthopädie und verfügt über zusätzliche Qualifikationen in den Bereichen spezielle orthopädische Chirurgie, Rheumatologie, Sportmedizin, Physikalische Therapie und Chirotherapie. Sein Studium der Medizin absolvierte Dr. med. Kirgis an der renommierten Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in München. Im Laufe seiner Karriere hat er sein Fachwissen durch mehrere Weiterbildungsaufenthalte in den USA erweitert und sich einen internationalen Erfahrungsschatz angeeignet. Nach dem Abschluss seines Studiums und der Erteilung der ärztlichen Approbation promovierte Dr. med. Kirgis und sammelte wertvolle praktische Erfahrung als Stabsarzt bei der Bundeswehr. Es folgten Assistenzarzt-Tätigkeiten an verschiedenen renommierten Kliniken, darunter das Elisabeth-Krankenhaus in Thuine, das Unfallkrankenhaus Salzburg, die Orthopädische Universitätsklinik Kiel sowie die Orthopädische Universitätsklinik Ulm. Die Anerkennung als Facharzt für Orthopädie erlangte Dr. med. Kirgis im Jahr 1987. Dr. med. Kirgis engagiert sich in der medizinischen Ausbildung und Lehre. Er ist als Member of Faculty und Senior Instructor für "non fusion Techniken" an der Wirbelsäule (Implantation von Bandscheibenendoprothesen und Fusionen) tätig und teilt sein Wissen und seine Expertise mit angehenden Orthopäden. Darüber hinaus hat er mehr als 50 wissenschaftliche Artikel und Publikationen veröffentlicht und trägt aktiv zur Weiterentwicklung seines Fachgebietes bei. Durch seine langjährige Erfahrung, sein umfassendes Fachwissen und sein Engagement für die medizinische Lehre hat sich Dr. med. Alexander Kirgis einen hervorragenden Ruf als Orthopäde erarbeitet.
