About Dr Ahmed Nagla
Dr Nagla is a Palliative Medicine Physician. Dr Nagla began their career as a GP in Melbourne. To further their skills and respond to the needs of the community, they undertook palliative care training at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Barwon Health, Alfred Health and Mercy Palliative Care. Dr Nagla has a special interest in education and research to further develop how palliative care is delivered. Dr Nagla is committed to peer development and has been an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Their commitment to best practice in Palliative Care was recognised by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in 2021, where they were the recipient of the Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (AChPM) Best Trainee Research Project Award.
