About
Dr Ahmed Hassan is a consultant urologist and robotic urologic surgeon with more than 30 years of clinical experience. He is the current head of urology at Al Zahra Hospital in Dubai and has previously worked in leading hospitals in both Dubai and Germany. Dr Hassan specialises in a number of areas including uro-oncology surgery, prostate enlargement, urinary stone disease, paediatric urology, female urology, and men's infertility. He speaks German, Arabic, and English, and is able to build trust with his patients by taking a patient-centric approach to care and listening to their needs.
Dr Hassan gained his medical qualification in 1985 before going on to gain experience in the diagnosis and treatment of genitourinary diseases. He takes a multi-disciplinary approach to care to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. Dr Hassan has a fellowship with the German Board of Urology and is a member of a number of urological associations including the German Urological Association, the American Urological Association, the European Association of Urology and the Emirates Urological Society.
