Die Zahnarztpraxis Dr. med. dent. Silke Zimmer in Laage bietet Patientinnen und Patienten ein breites Spektrum der klassischen Zahnheilkunde für alle Altersgruppen sowie dem speziellen Fachbereich der Schlafmedizin.

Die erste Priorität von Dr. Zimmer liegt darin, die eigenen Zähne so lange und so gut wie möglich zu erhalten, unter Einsatz von zahnerhaltenden Maßnahmen und schonenden Methoden. Auch Anliegen der Zahnästhetik, wie ästhetische Korrekturen und Zahnaufhellung, werden hier behandelt. Bei Zahndefekten setzt die Praxis Techniken wie Composit-Restauration, Inlays aus Gold oder Keramik, sowie Kronen und Teilkronen ein, um für jede Patientin und Patienten die optimale Lösung zu finden.
Die Therapie von Schlaf-Atmungsstörungen richtet sich an Patientinnen und Patienten, die Probleme mit Schnarchen, erholsamen Schlaf, trockenem Hals am Morgen oder Tagesmüdigkeit haben.
Silke Zimmer absolvierte 1988 das Studium der Zahnmedizin an der Universität Rostock und sammelte im Anschluss Erfahrung als Zahnärztin am Kreiskrankenhaus Ribnitz Damgarten. 1996 entschloss sie sich zur Niederlassung in eigener Praxis in Laage und begann 1998 in der zahnärztlichen Schlafmedizin und Schnarchtherapie, zertifiziert durch die DGZS. Ihre Promotion zum Dr. med. dent. erfolgte 2006.
