Even if you already have a referral from your General Practitioner, The Carpal Tunnel Clinic recommends a visit with their Specialist Clinical Practitioner. For patients requiring nerve conduction studies, the clinic can make arrangements for these to be conducted by their recommended Neurologists.
If surgery is deemed necessary, you have the flexibility to choose a treatment schedule that suits you, whether it's within the next two weeks or at a more convenient time.
Non-surgical treatment options may also be available, which could involve Occupational Therapy, splinting, or occasionally, injections, depending on your specific needs and the practitioner's recommendations.
