Wird bei einer Untersuchung eine Zahnfehlstellungs- oder Kieferanomalie festgestellt, muss sie in der Regel behandelt werden. Eine Behandlung erfolgt mit dem Ziel, Ihr Gebiss funktionstüchtiger zu machen und vor Karies und vorzeitigem Zahnausfall (durch Parodontose) zu schützen.
Sehr gerne hilft Ihnen die kieferorthopädische Ordination auch bei einer so genannten craniomandibulären Dysfunktion (CMD). Diese Fehlregulation der Muskel- und Gelenkfunktion der Kiefergelenke führt unter Umständen zu Funktionsstörungen und Schmerzen des Kiefergelenkes und/oder der Kaumuskulatur.
Für die genau passende kieferorthopädische Behandlung bietet die Praxis stets eine sehr präzise Diagnostik. Dazu nutzen sie modernste Technik, wie zum Beispiel 3D-Scanner, 3D-Drucker sowie das strahlenarme Röntgen.
Mit ausgefeilten und hochmodernen Möglichkeiten wird eine Zahnkorrektur so diskret wie möglich vorgenommen. Dabei wird in der Ordination mit herausnehmbaren und festsitzenden Spangen behandelt.
Hier ein Überblick der verschiedenen Möglichkeiten:
· Speedbrackets: Durch einen raffinierten Titan-Feder-Mechanismus der sehr kleinen Brackets ist eine rasche und schonende Behandlung möglich
· Keramikbrackets: Weiße, ästhetische Brackets werden von außen auf die Zähne geklebt
· Superelastische Bögen: Durch High-Tech-Bögen ist eine rasche und schmerzfreie Ausformung der Zahnbögen möglich
· Lingualtechnik: Hierbei werden die Brackets auf die Zahninnenseite geklebt. Vorteil: Die Spange ist von außen nicht sichtbar
· Invisalign: Bestimmte Zahnfehlstellungen können durch hauchdünne, herausnehmbare, transparente Schienen korrigiert werden
In der Praxis werden sowohl Kinder als auch Erwachsene behandelt.
