Assisted Reproduction Ultrasound is a specialist medical service based in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, working in association with the Women’s Health Clinic. The clinic provides expert ultrasound services for fertility assessment, early pregnancy monitoring, and fertility treatment support for patients both in Ireland and abroad.
The service is led by Joan Kelly, a State Registered Nurse and highly experienced fertility practitioner. A graduate of St. Vincent’s Hospital, Joan has worked in reproductive medicine since 2000, including at the pioneering Ireland’s first IVF clinic, the Hari Fertility Unit.
Assisted Reproduction Ultrasound offers a range of diagnostic and monitoring services, including follicle tracking to assess ovulation, baseline reproductive scans to evaluate anatomy and detect conditions such as cysts, fibroids, or endometriosis, and early pregnancy scans from six to ten weeks to confirm pregnancy viability and establish accurate gestational dating.
The clinic also supports patients undergoing IVF or egg donation cycles abroad through satellite monitoring, same-day hormonal blood testing, and prescription rewriting for EU-based treatments. With a focus on accuracy, comfort, and continuity of care, Assisted Reproduction Ultrasound is committed to guiding patients confidently through every stage of their fertility and pregnancy journey.
