Barclay Street aims to help service users live independently by providing individualised support and joint comprehensive reviews on the services users progress.Barclay Street Care Home staff works with the service users to support a more independent lifestyle, by working with the services users to plan individual support and ambitions, providing joint reviews on service user progress, utilising carers and professionals to provide a consistent stream of support. Barclay Street also provides its service users with the opportunity to undertake leisure activities and provide support with daily life activities such as healthy eating, mental health, personal safety, budgeting, nutrition and medication. Service users also gain such chances to meaningfully engage with the wider community. Barclay Street staff take the time to listen and provide support according to the wishes of service users, and remain flexible in using different approaches to help service users reach their goals.
